This pattern explains in a clear step by step way how to knit low cut sneaker socks that don't slip off the feet as we walk or even run.

SIZE

Children’s shoe sizes9, 12 (US sizes) / 25, 30 (European sizes) / approximately fits 3, 6 years old kids.

Women’s shoe sizes 5, 7, 9 (US sizes) / 35/36, 37/38, 39/40 (European sizes)

Men’s shoe sizes7, 9, 11, 13 (US sizes) / 40, 42, 44, 46 (European sizes)

YARN

Any sock yarn (wool or wool blend) that has the equivalent of 200 m / 210 yds in 50 g / 1.7 oz (it is consistent with Sport weight that is marked by digit 2 on the yarn label).

You will need 120, 135 / 160, 170, 180 / 170, 190, 200, 210 m (130, 150 / 170, 180, 195 / 190, 205, 220, 230 yds)

As you see, because the socks are low cut, for most sizes you will only need one 50 g / 1.7 oz ball of yarn.

NEEDLES

2.5 mm (US size 1.5) circular needles that are at least 80 cm / 32” long.

These socks are worked from the toe up using the magic loop technique,

NOTIONS

1 locking stitch marker or a safety pin, 1 wool needle.
